ChartMogul ↗
Engineering Manager - Data & AI team (June 2026 - present)
- Promoted to lead the new Data & AI team of 4 engineers, owning ChartMogul’s data and AI strategy from idea through to production and adoption.
- Started and led ChartMogul’s AI initiatives. This includes a publicly launched MCP server that opens up ChartMogul analytics to AI clients, along with other AI features in the product. I took each one from the first idea, to a proof of concept, to something customers use.
- Set up how the team finds, prototypes and ships AI products, turning experiments into features that customers actually use.
Engineering Manager - Infra team (July 2023 - June 2026)
- Managed the Infra & Data team, shaping the company’s data strategy and architecture to support business growth.
- Came up with and led the migration of ChartMogul’s customer-facing analytics from Postgres to ClickHouse. I proposed it, proved it out, and rolled it to production, which gave a 50% improvement in query performance for all customers.
- Started and led the Destinations data-export product. It gives customers self-service access to their ChartMogul data in their own warehouses, and it has grown into a widely used part of the product.
- Ran multiple Postgres migrations, upgrades and query optimizations, which removed recurring data-processing incidents.
- Led a Snowflake cost optimization that cut spend by 70% without losing performance.
Engineering Manager - Data engineering team (Aug 2021 - June 2023)
- Started ChartMogul’s Data Engineering team.
- Set up and built the data analytics stack from the ground up, including the Snowflake data warehouse, ETL workflows, CDC, and data transformations using dbt. The business still runs its analytics on it today.
- Suggested data product ideas to management, got buy-in, and led them to production. This is the way of working I still rely on today.
